The new range of stainless steel vertical pumps are pumps manufactured in AISI-304/AISI-316 stainless steel. With a design without a bearing box or anti-rotation, the assembly is simplified, with a more affordable cost, great robustness and first-class efficiency. They also occupy a smaller volume and reduce equipment breakdowns and wear and tear.

These pumps have been developed for multiple applications, whether drinking water supply, golf course irrigation, industrial applications, wells, etc.

Vertical pumps in stainless steel

This new range brings together the advantages of a submersible pump and a vertical surface pump. Some of its advantages are the following:

  • Lower maintenance: Lower cost in case of engine maintenance, due to the fact that it is on the surface.
  • Lower load losses: The HMT vertical pump will always work under load, which results in a lower curve drop. In the case of a vertical surface centrifugal pump, the loss of 1 meter of level translates into a significant loss of performance.
  • Surface motor: The motor of the HMT vertical pump is surface, with greater efficiency, lower consumption and lower cost, compared to a submersible motor. Without the risk of overheating the engine due to lack of flow.
  • Greater amplitude of the working range: Greater amplitude of the range of working frequencies with respect to a submersible motor.
  • Take advantage of the space: It allows you to take advantage of the maximum depth of a tank or swamp, unlike a submersible pump (due to the height of the motor) and a vertical centrifugal pump (due to its low suction capacity).
