The great advantage of the ozone treatment is the non-generation of unwanted derivate, with a half-life of a few minutes, re-forming oxygen. In the disinfection of drinking water it is basically used in the peroxidation stage, oxidizing organic matter, causing the iron and manganese to precipitate and as a disinfectant.
The equipment supplied by HMT uses the method of production by electric arc, although other technologies can be supplied on request.
The ozone installation is used for public water treatments, swimming pools and as a disinfectant in the process CIP in the food and beverage industry, but they can also be used in tobacconists, zoos and process water and refrigeration industry.
